Dhaka Electric Supply Company (DESCO) Limited is announcing recruitment of 73 manpower for 6 posts. DESCO invites application from eligible job seeker for appointment in the following posts on contractual basis.
1. Name of Posts: Name of Posts: Assistant Engineer (Electrical & Electronics/Mechanical).
No. of Posts: 05
Educational Qualification: At least graduate in Electrical & Electronics/Mechanical Engineering from any recognized university. No third Division/Class at any stage of academic career shall be acceptable. Candidates passed in the grading system must possess at least a CGPA 3.5 on a scale of 5.0 and CGPA 2.5 on a scale of 4.0.
Salary: Pay Grade -7
2. Name of Posts: Name of Posts: Assistant Engineer (Computer Science/ Electrical & Computer Engineering ).
No. of Posts: 03
Educational Qualification: At least graduate in Computer Science/Computer Science & Engineering/ Electrical & Computer Engineering from any recognized university.
Salary: Pay Grade -7
3. Name of Posts: Sub-Assistant Engineer (Electrical)
No. of Posts: 07
Educational Qualification: At least Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any recognized educational Institution.
No third Division/Class at any stage of academic career shall be acceptable. Candidates passed in the grading system must possess at least a CGPA 3.5 on a scale of 5.0 and CGPA 2.5 on a scale of 4.0.

4. Name of Posts: Sub-Assistant Engineer (Computer)

Educational Qualification: At least Diploma in Computer Engineering from any recognized educational Institution.

Educational Qualification: At least graduate Degree in HR/Management or any other relevant subject from any recognized university No third Division/Class at any stage of academic career shall be acceptable.

6. Name of Posts: Substation Attendant

Educational Qualification: HSC (Science) or equivalent having minimum 2nd division/ At least GPA 2.0 on a scale of 5.0 at any stage of academic career and good working knowledge in MS office.

8. Name of Posts: Assistant Complaint Supervisor
No. of Posts: 35
Educational Qualification: H.S.C or equivalent having minimum 2 division/At least GPA 2.0 on a scale of 5.0 at any stage of academic career and good working knowledge in MS office.

9. Name of Posts: Receptionist
No. of Posts: 08
Educational Qualification: H.S.C or equivalent having minimum 2 division/At least GPA 2.0 on a scale of 5.0 at any stage of academic career and good working knowledge in MS office.
Salary: Pay Grade -13
Opportunity:
- There will be two festival bonuses a year,

Examination Fee: The applicant must pay Tk. 1,500/- (One Thousand Five Hundred) for the posts under Sl. No.1 to 4 and Tk.1,000/- (One Thousand) for Sl. 5 No 9 to through Dutch Bangla Bank Ltd.( DBBL) Rocket service with following necessary directives mentioned in DESCO’s website (www.desco.gov.bd).
